In addition, Approval Code has partnered with numerous developers and leading software providers to facilitate payment processing quickly and easily for their clients. Some of the benefits for their clients include:

  • Rapid deployment and set-up. Many software installations require a processing partner familiar with complex account profiles. The ability to build, configure, test and activate the merchant account file and transmit the required set-up information to the merchant's reseller, usually within 6 hours from the time of approval, continues to amaze developers and resellers used to the frustrating delays and ineptitude they've experienced previously with many other processors and banks.

  • Rapid resolution of customer service issues. When a problem arises and a Bank blames the Reseller or Developer and vice versa, everybody loses. By nurturing close relationships with Developers, Resellers and Software companies, APPROVAL CODE has an intrinsic interest in solving problems quickly and in many cases even before it becomes apparent to the merchant. By assigning dedicated relationship managers to all partners, APPROVAL CODE ensures that partners always have open and qualified communication channels if problems arise.

About “FREE TERMINALS”
Throughout the country, merchants are being inundated with offers of '"FREE TERMINALS" from bankcard representatives. Are these terminals which sometimes sell for in excess of $800 really free? What many merchants should ask is: "How is this bank going to recoup the investment?” Many “Free Terminal” programs employ some or all of the following strategies:

  1. Annual Fee. This fee usually starts at $79 and can rise from there. At a minimum you will be paying $237 in additional fees in a three year period compared to a processor with no annual fee.

  2. Termination Fee. This can vary from $250 to several thousand dollars. Even if you pay the termination fee, you may not be able to keep the terminal.

  3. Protected Programming. The operating software of the terminal can be configured for proprietary use. It can be very difficult if not impossible to reprogram a Free Terminal for use with a competing processor.

  4. Higher Fees. Very often merchants will pay additional hidden fees. These fees routinely are $25 to $100 or more per month higher than comparable rates. At this pace, payoff to the processor can occur in just a few months.
